“…with great virtuosity and power, Miclen is a force to be reckoned with.”
Dear friends,
Welcome to my website, and thank you for being here.
This is a small window into my life as an artist, from performances and recordings to the different projects and communities I’ve been lucky to be part of over the years. As a violinist, my work moves between solo playing, chamber music, leading from within ensembles, and creating projects with people I deeply admire.
I was born in California and began playing the violin at the age of three, inspired early on by my brother. Music quickly became more than something I loved, it became a way of connecting with people. When I was eleven, I started a small orchestra in my hometown, bringing together musicians from the community to play in churches and local venues. That experience has stayed with me and continues to shape how I think about music today.
Since then, my path has taken me to many places around the world, where I’ve had the chance to perform, collaborate, and learn from incredible artists and audiences. I feel very grateful for that.
Today, I’m based in Paris and continue to balance performing with building projects and working with artists across different contexts. For me, music has always been about connection, shared moments, and creating spaces where something meaningful can happen.
Thank you again for being here. If you’d like, you can find a more formal biography below.
Warmly,
Miclen
